E&S Digital Theater Programs Win Four Telly AwardsSALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, June 22, 2004, Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation (E&S ) (NASDAQ: ESCC)-announced today that three all-dome video planetarium programs produced by the company's Digital Theater group are winners of four 2004 Telly Awards. The programs, The Future is Wild, Stars of the Pharaohs, and Universe, which are currently playing at planetariums worldwide and are available for license, were selected by top advertising and production professionals for the awards, which honor outstanding video and film productions. The Future is Wild, which takes audiences forward in time to see what life on earth might look like 200 million years from now, won two Silver Tellys, one in the Nature/Wildlife category, and one in the Animation category. Stars of the Pharaohs, which combines myth, science, art, and archeology to explore Egyptian astronomy and celestial beliefs, was recognized with a Bronze Telly in the History/Biography category. Universe, which looks at how mankind has envisioned the universe through the ages, received a Bronze Telly Award in the Education Category. All three programs run on E&S's Digistar® 3 all-dome digital theater system. A widely known and respected international competition, the Telly Awards annually honor the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
