The world's first and only completely integrated digital planetarium system.

Offering an ideal balance between price and image quality, this midrange Digistar 3 system has been installed in more theaters worldwide than any other digital planetarium system. Capable of producing 11 million pixels on the dome (8.25 million unique pixels after edge-blending between all projectors), Digistar 3 CRT uses six CRT video projectors mounted in the dome to create a virtually seamless all-dome image. Requiring minimal maintenance, CRT projectors provide extremely high contrast and sufficient brightness for domes more than 20 meters in diameter. If desired, we can double the brightness by adding a second set of six CRT projectors (for a total of 12). Whether you choose the six or twelve projector system, all of Digistar 3's powerful features are available on this system and all of the configurations within the Digistar 3 family of products.
